Here's a tip for tuning your new Ukulele: Are you noticing that your new ukulele requires frequent tuning every time you want to play it? Don't worry, this is a common occurrence with new strings, especially nylon strings. Nylon strings need some stretching before they settle down and hold their tune. To solve this issue, tune the ukulele to the desired note and then pull up on the strings over the sound hole to give them a good stretch. This will lower the pitch by about 2 whole notes. Tune it back up and repeat the process until it stays in tune. Some people who are not accustomed to stringed instruments, especially ones with nylon strings, might feel frustrated. However, please note that these are decent strings that simply need to be stretched!
